KIDS FILM LOUNGE
Here at Stow Film Lounge we firmly believe that it is never too early to introduce children to the wonders of film and cinema. Over the years the thrill of Sunday morning pictures has been lost in our view, so we were determined to do something about it. Kids Film Lounge is a very relaxed affair which we like to call “organised chaos” and is aimed mainly at 4yrs and upwards (although siblings under 2yrs are welcome too).

As part of our Kids Film Lounge we wanted to offer more than just a film for our Saturday morning pictures. It seemed to make sense to have an activity prior to the film. We have therefore teamed up with Lesley Palmer of Scribble & Smudge and Kate Westbrook of The Climbing Frame who will provide your little ones with some imaginitively inspired activities prior to the films.
Lesley Palmer, Director of Scribble and Smudge, has worked in the community arts for 8 years offering arts projects for families, children and community groups. A key aim is to develop family learning through participating in one off events and projects and believing in families enjoying participating and creating together – encouraging play and creative thinking.S&S were the 2005 winners of the Sure Start Partners in Excellence Award.
Our customers are reminded that only food and drink purchased on the premsies may be consumed in the cinema.
We serve organic hotdogs as well as veggie hotdogs for those of you who are vegetarian.
