Stow Film Lounge’s aim is to entertain by screening a variety of films from the latest light comedy to the oldest dark drama. We work hard at creating a very inviting atmosphere which we like to think of as rather a more bespoke cinema-going experience compared to other establishments. We also host Q&As alongside screenings and these always prove interesting and stimulating for our audiences.  Some examples of these have been: Robin Hardy, Director of The Wicker Man (original); Jemima Dury, Artist and daughter of Ian Dury following Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll; Gregers Sal, Editor of Senna; Owen Gower, Director of Still The Enemy Within; John Maclean, Director of Slow West; Charlie Lynne, Director of Beyond Clueless, Adam Pearson, Actor in Under The Skin and Jemima Dury, artist and daughter of the late Ian Dury.

Bring along dvd(s) you have finished with and swap for other(s) that members of the audience have brought along themselves.

All our popcorn is freshly made on site in our traditional popcorn maker with only natural ingredients. Both salty and sweet are available, so why not try our popcorn meal box option of 1/2 salty on the top and 1/2 sweet on the bottom.

Freshly cooked Helen Brownings organic hotdogs with a variety of sauces. Veggie hotdogs are also available for those of you who are vegetarian.

Try one of our delicious Beechdean ice-creams in a variety of different yummy flavours.

Sadly the van is not ours but for those of you who know me, I love classic motors!
