STOW FILM LOUNGE
Stow Film Lounge’s aim is to entertain by screening a variety of films from the latest light comedy to the oldest dark drama. We work hard at creating a very inviting atmosphere which we like to think of as rather a more bespoke cinema-going experience compared to other establishments. We also host Q&As alongside screenings and these always prove interesting and stimulating for our audiences. Some examples of these have been: Robin Hardy, Director of The Wicker Man (original); Jemima Dury, Artist and daughter of Ian Dury following Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll; Gregers Sal, Editor of Senna; Owen Gower, Director of Still The Enemy Within; John Maclean, Director of Slow West; Charlie Lynne, Director of Beyond Clueless, Adam Pearson, Actor in Under The Skin and Jemima Dury, artist and daughter of the late Ian Dury.
Our mantra for our evening screenings is rather straight forward:
DRINK + QUALITY REFRESHMENTS + COMFY SEAT + FILM = BLISS
